About First Mile

First Mile exists because the best coffee in America got buried under the worst language. Single-origin this, micro-lot that — and you still don't know if you'll like it.

So we did the unglamorous thing: four roasts, plain-English tasting notes, and a label that tells you what to brew it with. Light, medium, dark, decaf. That's the whole lineup, and that's the point.

The part we don't compromise: freshness. Grocery-shelf coffee was roasted months ago. Every First Mile bag is roasted in small batches by our roasting partner, Temecula Coffee Roasters, in Temecula, California, then shipped straight to you — it arrives still degassing from the roast.

That first cup of the day deserves better than stale beans and decoder-ring labels. We make the first mile easy.
