What we collect
When you buy from us or join our mailing list we collect the information you give us: name, email address, shipping and billing address, and order details. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments — we never see or store your full card number. We also receive standard technical data (IP address, browser, device) through our store platform, Shopify, to keep the store secure and understand how it is used.
What we use it for
- Fulfilling orders: your name and address go to our roasting and shipping partner in Temecula, California, solely to roast and ship your coffee.
- Service email: order confirmations and shipping notifications.
- Marketing email: only if you opted in (for example, for the $5-off welcome offer). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers needed to run the store (Shopify, payment processing, our roasting/shipping partner).
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you — email alex@tryauranode.com. EU/EEA residents have these rights under the GDPR (including a right to complain to a supervisory authority); California residents have similar rights under the CCPA. We honor all of these requests regardless of where you live.
Cookies
The store uses the cookies Shopify needs to run a cart and checkout, plus basic analytics. No third-party advertising cookies are set by us.
